What is Photography

For me, photography is an artistic, creative licence to manipulate what we 

Not to deceive but to provoke......thoughts, imagination and to tell a 

Realistically we all look at a subject and see something different; influenced by our experiences, imagination, preferences, 

By changing the angle, lighting, focus the same subject it is possible to present a different story, or provoke an alternate thought. This can often happen for the author when editing, which I find truly 

Since taking up photography, almost everything which comes into my view warrants a second inspection, different 

This immediately opens the 'closed off mind' and triggers the 'eyes wide open' thus leaving us with a life thru a lens', all as a cause of 'making 

Photography, for me, is a form of artistic expression, a license to interpret the world through my lens.  

It's not about fabricating falsehoods, but rather about provoking thoughts, sparking imaginations, and weaving narratives.  

We all perceive the same subject differently, colored by our individual experiences, imaginations, and preferences. By adjusting the angle, lighting, or focus, I can reveal alternative stories hidden within a single scene, often discovering new meanings myself during the editing process – a truly magical experience.

Since picking up a camera, my perspective has shifted. Everything I see now invites a second look, a different angle. This practice opens my mind, encourages a fresh perspective, and allows me to experience life through a lens, constantly creating memories.
